Pardada Pardadi Girl Represents Team India

Representing India at FIBA U18 Women’s

Asia Cup 2026

We are proud to share that a Pardada Pardadi’s girl, Sadhana, represented Team India at the FIBA Under-18 Women’s Asia Cup 2026. She made her debut in India’s 106–62 win over Thailand, then delivered a standout 12-point performance in India’s 99–17 victory against Oman, and added 4 points as India beat Indonesia 79–46 to top the group and reach the semi-finals. Across the tournament, Sadhana scored 18 points for Team India, helping the team finish fourth in Asia.

Her efforts were recognised during the national training camp, where she received an award for being the ‘Most Improved Player’ and was felicitated by Head Coach Sarah Gayler.

On her return, she was welcomed at the New Delhi Airport by the Pardada Pardadi management, staff and over 30 students, who had gathered to celebrate her achievement.

Her father is a farmer, while her mother is a homemaker. Determined to give her daughters a better future through education, her mother relocated with them to Anupshahr. Sadhana made the most of every opportunity that came her way. Before representing Team India, she represented Uttar Pradesh in the National Basketball Championships on 10 occasions and was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) three times.
