The Impact of PPES

ABOUT US, WHAT WE DO AND WHY WE DO IT

Since 2000, PPES has transformed the lives of thousands of girls and women in rural India. Our mission is to uplift the socio-economic status of people in rural India through the empowerment of girls and women.

We do this by providing free education and vocational training- creating a new generation of self-reliant and educated girls who can break the cycle of poverty in one of the most backward districts in Uttar Pradesh.

Today PPES has more than 1600 students from 65 villages. With the persistent work of PPES in rural development, the community which was resilient to girls’ education is now shifting towards gender equality and women empowerment. Overall, our community development and education programs have impacted 135 villages.
