Dear Pardada Pardadi Family,
This month was marked by new beginnings, impactful partnerships, and steady progress. The Class 12th results were announced last month, and the girls are now set to begin their higher education journeys. Some have already secured admissions and qualified for ‘Learn & Earn’ programmes, and some are in process.
We also completed Project Parivartan with Zimmer Biomet, distributing bicycles to girls for safer access to education and sewing machines to Self Help Group (SHG) women to support sustainable livelihoods.
In community development, teams strengthened livelihoods through SHG training and the poultry project.
Every milestone reflects the collective strength of our girls, women, supporters, and partners who believe in education and empowerment as drivers of lasting change.

The Shot She Wasn't Supposed to Take
Shalu's Journey
In Shalu’s village, the path for girls was already decided: school, then marriage, and then silence. All four of her sisters walked it without question.
Shalu didn’t. She chose another path.
From a farming family earning ₹48,000 a year, she walked into Pardada Pardadi in the 3rd standard and walked out years later as a national-level basketball player. Today, she teaches the next generation of girls the same sport that changed her life.

But the journey between those two moments was anything but easy.
