From Dust To Building Blocks – Kirti’s Inspiring Journey
– Kirti’s Journey
In the village of Khalour in Bulandshahr, where opportunities for girls were once limited, Kirti chose a different path-one that not only transformed her life but also uplifted her entire family and inspired a community.
Kirti grew up in a modest household with four younger sisters and a brother. With no agricultural land and limited income from a struggling flour mill, survival itself was a challenge. Yet, stronger than these hardships was her family’s belief in gender equality.
Supported by her father and grandparents, Kirti dared to pursue education despite resistance from relatives and neighbours, who questioned the need for a girl to study beyond the basics.
What followed was a journey of resilience and determination. Kirti made the most of every opportunity at Pardada Pardadi, where holistic education and personality development shaped her confidence and vision. She earned a diploma in software engineering and today works with Cisco, an achievement that once seemed unimaginable in her village.
But Kirti’s success did not stop with her. She became the foundation for her entire family’s progress. She ensured that all her siblings completed their education and pursued professional careers—one sister is now an interior designer, another is pursuing postgraduate studies in biotechnology, and the youngest is studying nursing. Even her elder brother, who once faced setbacks, found direction and now works as a yoga instructor.
“I am older than Kirti, but it was she who ensured that I completed a certificate course and went on to graduate in Yoga after I couldn’t make it into the Indian Army,” said Sonu, fondly describing his sister as the torchbearer of transformation in their village.
Kirti also contributed financially to her family, helping build a new home and elevating their social standing. Today, her journey is recognised not just within her village but also by local leaders and officials, who see her as a beacon of change.
Kirti said, “It has been a magical journey for me, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the holistic education and personality development at Pardada Pardadi. It started with me, but it transformed the lives of my entire family, including all my siblings.”
Her impact goes beyond her own family. Inspired by Kirti, many families in Khalour have begun educating their daughters. Parents who once hesitated now take pride in their girls’ achievements—pursuing higher education, speaking confidently in English, and dreaming bigger than ever before.
Kirti’s story is not just about personal success; it is about breaking barriers, shifting mindsets, and building a future where no girl is left behind. From dust to dreams, she has truly rebuilt what was once thought impossible.
