Job Description:

Pardada Pardadi Educational Society (PPES) are looking for a dynamic and versatile Digital Marketing and Social Media Sr. Associate to join our team. This role combines the responsibilities of both a digital marketer and a social media expert, focusing on developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that enhance our online presence, engage our audience, and drive business growth. A key component of this role is also social listening, which involves monitoring social media channels to gain insights into customer sentiment, trends, and brand mentions.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and implement holistic digital marketing strategies that align with PPES objectives.
  • Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and display networks.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings.
  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage customers.
  • Utilize web analytics tools to track and measure the performance of digital marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Work closely with the Communication team to implement the risk mitigation strategy and inform the organization on issues that may impact its reputation.

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase PPES’s brand awareness and engagement across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and others.
  • Create compelling and platform-specific content, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics.
  • Manage and grow the brand’s social media presence by engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and building a community.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid and free social media campaigns to achieve specific PPES marketing goals.
  • Monitor social media trends and leverage them to keep the brand relevant and engaging.

Social Listening:

  • Monitor social media channels for mentions of PPES, its programs, and relevant topics covering Health, Nutrition, Community Development, Education, Child Protection, Social Cohesion, Gender, Girls Education, and any other topic that aligns with our mandate.
  • Collect and analyse data from social media conversations to gain insights into stakeholders, emerging trends, and potential issues.
  • Use social listening tools to track keywords, hashtags, and PPES brand mentions across various platforms.
  • Provide regular insights and reports on emerging trends to inform and enhance our content and campaign strategies.
  • Provide campaign intelligence based on a review of successful and unsuccessful communication experiences to strengthen PPES’s communications and digital plans.
  • Produce due diligence reports on persons of interest and organizations that may be partners/collaborators for PPES.
  • Engage with followers and community and address feedback in real-time to foster a positive and supportive community environment.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Produce high-quality, engaging, and informative content for various digital channels, including blogs, social media, email newsletters, and websites.
  • Collaborate with designers, writers, and other team members to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all platforms.
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Use analytics tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and other measurement tools to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Generate regular reports on key performance metrics and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine and optimize marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, social science, or a related field with a certificate in digital communication
  • At least 3-4 years of experience working in the field of digital and brand communication with at least 2 years of experience in social listening and social media analytics.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and social media management.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, and email marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO tools, social media management tools).
  • Excellent content creation skills, including writing, design, and video production.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English is required (Oral and Written).


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), Canva and video editing tools.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
